This is the first generation of Skype-enabled TVs ever developed by our partners. Call and receive video calls from anyone who’s got Skype, plus make video calls to people who have the latest version of Skype for Windows or Mac (version 5.0 and above) on their computers.
Skype is soon available on selected Panasonic and Samsung TVs. Stay tuned to see Skype on even more brands and on a wider range of models, too.

| Panasonic - What do I need? • Skype-enabled 2010 Panasonic HD TV. • A Panasonic Communication Camera. • A fast broadband internet connection. You’ll need to use your TV webcam to make audio calls, too. It comes with a specialist microphone system that’s designed to pick up your voice from the couch, plus it delivers great video quality. To send High Definition video, you’ll need a very fast internet connection – we recommend 1.2 Mbps symmetrical bandwidth or higher. You’ll need 500 kbps to make High Quality Video calls. |
